Its almost Christmas! In Germany there are many Christmas markets and they have stands all over the street during the 4 weeks of advent. There are gluhwein stands everywhere (hot mulled wine) My favourite is Lebkuchen, those super cute gingerbread hearts! Other popular items are Gebrannte Mandeln (candied, toasted almonds), chocolate covered fruits, fruit cake and langos of course another one of my favs! In the Erfurt market I also found Rahmbrot again, oh gosh are those good the softest bread stuffed to the max with cheesey goodness! Other non-edible items were wooden christmas ornaments, bee wax candles and santa hats and lots of them. In conclusion, i love christmas markets =)
