On Thrusday September 23rd, 2010 we took a trip to Buchenwald which is a concentration camp from world war 2. It was about 30 mins bus ride away from the city center of Weimar. It was pretty heavy for a Thursday afternoon. We took a tour around the area and we saw some of the cells. There was some pretty scary stuff like hanging rooms, burners, carts for corpses etc. It was pretty intense. Then there is a museum there as well. Even though I know the place has been cleaned out I still felt like everything felt dirty and wanted to hold my breath.
